Claire is a professional speaker and has chaired and hosted numerous events single-handed and in partnership with Glenn Carmichael from The Poetry Slam.

	The Poetry Slam Claire has been a host for The Poetry Slam for over ten years. Events have included the National Poetry Slam Championships at Watershed Media Centre, Poems of War and Peace at Arnolfini Gallery and promotions such as ‘Brett Anderson reads his lyrics’, ‘John Cooper Clarke’ and ‘John Hegley’
